Ms. Brooks focuses her practice on family wealth preservation and estate tax, charitable and legacy planning, including the preparation of Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Charitable and Special Needs Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships and Liability Companies, IRA Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care documents. She assists “blended families” with their special estate planning concerns, and provides guidance to the loved ones of those with special needs on public benefits. She helps families preserve wealth with dynasty trusts, and assists vacation home owners who wish to maintain the vacation home in the family harmoniously for generations. In addition, she assists businesses with start-up, general matters, and succession planning, and assists clients with trust and estate administration. She also assists clients with adult guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Ms. Brooks was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2004.
