 Ms. Wilson practices in the Domestic Relations Department of Huff, Poole & Mahoney, P.C. Serving as a law clerk to the Honorable John Ramsey Johnson of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia provided Ms. Wilson a diverse background in the modification of domestic relations court orders and an extensive background in criminal law, specifically post-conviction relief and domestic violence. Prior to obtaining a judicial clerkship, Ms. Wilson worked as an associate with an immigration law firm in the District of Columbia. While there she analyzed business documents and advised various small tech LLC's, partnerships, and corporations in their foreign national recruitment efforts. Also, she advised individual clients on related matters such as family-based immigration petitions. While in law school, Ms. Wilson had clinical experience in domestic relations, she was a student attorney with the Women and the Law Clinic and provided representation to diverse clients on issues such as retroactive and prospective child support and civil protection orders. Additionally, Ms. Wilson served as a Dean's Fellow for Professor Darren Hutchinson and Professor Cynthia Jones in areas of criminal law and equal protection jurisprudence. Ms. Wilson was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2005. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
